Districts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands

The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are a group of islands situated in the Bay of Bengal, off the eastern coast of India . The archipelago consists of over 572 islands, out of which only 37 are inhabited. The islands are known for their serene beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush green forests. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are divided into three districts, namely South Andaman, Nicobar, and North and Middle Andaman. In this blog post, we will take a closer look at each of these districts and what makes them unique. 1. South Andaman District South Andaman is the most populous district in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It is home to the capital city of Port Blair, which is the administrative center of the islands. The district is known for its white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and vibrant coral reefs.
